The Risk CAO organization has an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in leading technology change and transformation.
This role is part of the Resource and Business Management team within the CAO organization of Risk Management and will be part of the Risk Technology governance team responsible to oversee the Risk's Technology investment management process, governing an annual spend of approx. $300M in technology related initiatives. The role will require a candidate with general management skills, strong business acumen, an inquisitive mindset and ability to drive process improvement and productivity through technology.
This multi-faceted role will report to the Risk Tech and Business Enablement Governance Lead and will support strategy, planning and oversight of the technology operating plan and roadmap, supporting a cadence of ongoing operating rhythms and governance routines to ensure maximum value from Risk's technology investment.
Responsibilities:

Support the organization to execute against the Risk technology operating plan in partnership with key stakeholders across Risk and Technology, along with the journey from the current state so that dollars spent can be tracked and their value clearly understood. Collaborate with the various product owner teams to maintain consistent technology platform roadmaps and backlogs for key applications

Execute a series of governance routines run across a significant stakeholder network, of varying seniority across Risk, Finance, Technology and ICRM including: quarterly Chief Risk Officer updates, Risk Compliance tech strategy, technology business execution touchpoints, financial reviews with senior stakeholders and monthly BOW governance with sponsors

Run the annual technology investment prioritization and budget process across Risk management stakeholders, providing thorough review and challenge of requests, and ensure that relevant SMEs input is obtained e.g, ICRM, Business execution leads, RBCM owners, reg leads.

Monitor the technology BOW through the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring benefits are realized and return on investment can be measured.

Create presentations and management information on behalf of the organization for use in communicating to a wide range of stakeholders

Manage technology financials, performing ongoing monitoring, tracking and reporting on all expenses related to the technology operating plan

Manage large amounts of complex management information on an ongoing basis with ability to analyze, derive, summarize and communicate insights

Facilitate deep-dives and ongoing review of the technology operating plan to identify opportunities that rationalize, standardize and simplify capabilities, or reduce overall operating expense.
Qualifications:
-
6 years relevant experience, ideally in Banking or Financial Services with prior work experience in area related to business analysis, strategy consulting, technology automation initiatives or process reengineering

Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and persuade colleagues across disparate businesses, regions and cultures.

Demonstrated excellence at identifying stakeholders, understanding needs, and driving decision- making/resolution in a collaborative approach which includes vetting/troubleshooting.

Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at the senior management level.

Ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate.

Prior experience with managing and reporting on a large volume of data

The ability to collaborate effectively, while also providing a constructive challenge to status quo thinking
Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
