Position Overview

This role is an experienced storyteller, you eat Adobe Premiere for lunch and snack on After Effects.  Aspiring to be an award-winning editor, the candidate has already written the acceptance speech. Flexibility, camaraderie, and teamwork are natural ingredients in this career recipe. The person in this role listens, speaks up, communicates well, offers suggestions, asks questions, and makes recommendations without any fear of being judged.   


The ideal candidate sifts through massive video footage and then builds a captivating story in video. Turn edits around quickly, receive critique with an open mind, and revise edits in a timely manner. The finished video is not just a video; it is a message, a purpose, a legacy in the journey of improving the future of health. Many can piece together video clips in Premiere; but we’re looking for a candidate who can impact our audiences with positive outcomes. 

What You'll Be Working On (Duties include but not limited to):

  • Create compelling stories and engaging content from existing and new footage. 
  • Support the team by prepping projects, creating stringouts, and mastering. 
  • Edit long-form and short-form documentary style content. 
  • Edit short form pieces including interviews, social media content, and other related content. 
  • Work with pre-production and production teams to ensure “shoot for edit”  
  • Work with stakeholders for accuracy in final edits.
  • Other related post-production tasks as assigned.

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.  
  • This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.  

What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Seven or more years of experience in post-production 
  • Adobe Suite 
  • Technical knowledge of Adobe’s post-production workflows 
  • Ability to work with RAW 4k(+) footage 
  • Color Correction 
  • Possess a solid understanding of video production process from concept to completion  
  • Ability to translate high level creative concepts into edits 
  • Flexibility to juggle multiple projects at once and adapt quickly to a fast-moving environment. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to apply feedback through various rounds of review. 
  • Ability to animate basic graphics and work with AE templates  
  • Fast learner, eager to learn new tools and techniques in postproduction 

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited university or college.
