The Vice President, Value & Strategy is a critical role within the Chief Business Officer’s Strategy function. This VP will shape, develop and execute key value and strategy initiatives, as well as serve as a functional leader, resource and mentor.
Key Accountabilities:

Design, build and maintain Competitive Intelligence / Market Models that track key markets, player market share, market growth and forward-looking expectations to better inform Parexel business planning, decisions and financial modeling.

Support business units’ customer targeting and existing relationships with customer / client intelligence

Create clear and compelling materials to communicate market analyses, expectations and go-forward projections

Development of M&A criteria, priorities and financial models to inform business development efforts and activity

Have knowledge of and be able to support activities around investor / financial stakeholder relations (i.e. consensus modeling, market analysis, investor targeting, investor messaging)

Close and continuous collaboration with Finance team, specifically FP&A, to ensure consistency around key market models and growth expectations

Support corporate strategy development and strategy development and counsel for key business functions (i.e. Parexel Biotech, Enterprise, Launch Excellence, Clinical Operations, Consulting, Safety / PV, Data & Technology, AI and others, as needed)

Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have an extremely strong financial background (i.e. MBA, CPA, sell-side / buy-side financial analyst, business consultant, Investor Relations, etc.) and be able to build and maintain complex financial models. He/she will also be a strategic thinker and driver, capable of building out and executing against comprehensive strategic plans. Ability to work well with others, communicate clearly and meet deadlines is required.
