Job Summary:

The Vice President of People Experience is a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and driving employee experience excellence. This leader will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring the flawless execution of key functions within the People Experience department, including Onboarding, Orientation, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, and the leadership of our HR Business Partners and Managers.
 

This role requires a proven leader with a strong operational track record and a deep commitment to enhancing the employee experience. The Vice President of People Experience will collaborate closely with other senior leaders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, positioning LifeStance to become the mental health employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive talent strategy that encompasses onboarding, orientation, learning & development, employee engagement, talent acquisition, and HR business partnership.

  • Onboarding & Orientation: Oversee and continuously improve the onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and enriching experience for new hires that aligns with the organization’s values and culture.

  • Learning & Development: Design and implement a strategic learning and development program that nurtures employee growth, skill development, leadership readiness, and succession planning across all levels of the organization.

  • Employee Retention & Engagement: Design and implement data driven employee engagement and retention initiatives that cultivate an engaged workforce, reduce turnover and align with organizational goals.

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead and manage the talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent, ensuring the company has a strong pipeline of diverse and high-quality candidates.

  • HR Business Partners: Provide strategic oversight and leadership to the HR Business Partner team, ensuring they are aligned with business goals, understand the needs of various business units, and can proactively address talent-related challenges.

  • Data & Analytics: Lead the development and implementation of a data-driven strategy to track, measure and analyze key people metrics across talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, employee engagement, retention and overall performance.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure operational excellence in the execution of all Human Resources initiatives by implementing best practices, measuring success, and continuously refining processes to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

  • Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with senior leadership across departments to ensure alignment of People Experience strategies with business objectives and foster a collaborative and inclusive organizational culture.

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, organizational psychology, or a related field. A master’s degree in human resources management, organizational development, or a similar discipline is preferred.

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience leading teams and overseeing talent, HR business partners, talent management, talent acquisition, employee experience, HR related functions, or operational/shared service-related functions in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.

  • Experience in scaling a high-growth organization, particularly in healthcare industry.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Compensation: $210,000.00 – 270,000.00/annually, with additional annual bonus potential.
