About the role

Chime is looking for an MBA Intern to join our Vendor Strategy and Operations  team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing a 3 year Vendor Strategy including defining the footprint and capabilities required for our operation. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of vendor management in a highly regulated environment. You will gain valuable professional experience working with a global cross-functional team focused on constantly elevating the member experience Chime is able to deliver. 

This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $34 and up to $49. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. 

In this role you will have the opportunity to

  • Assist with a complex mission critical program for the Vendor Operations team and overall Operations organization
  • Learn to Build, maintain, and enhance deep strategic relationships with key vendors to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and objectives as well as a commitment to continuous improvement. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to assist with ensuring core Vendor Strategy and Operations programs are aligned with requirements and timelines of our network

To thrive in this role, you’ll have the following

You have the ability to use data to drive decision-making as well as familiarity with Looker, Google Sheets, Hex, and more. Passion for diving deep to build a foundational understanding of a problem set, then using that to deliver solutions 
  • You Win Together: cross-functional program management experience, a strong organizational and analytical mind, as well as interpersonal and communication skills that you can lean on to engage partners across our Organization
  • Diverse Analytical Background: experience in various roles focused on program, project, product management level execution as well as a willingness to learn and build experience
  • You obsess about the experience: at Chime we are member obsessed and to help you get there we need you to be a selfstarter with a passion for consumer FinTech and desire to take on the complex projects and business problems we are taking on to improve the experience we deliver to Chime members
