The Role

We are looking for an experienced, motivated UX Researcher to support our UX Research efforts. This a remote, hourly rate, independent contract position. This contract will be for 3 months, working 35 hours per week (with the potential to extend!). You’ll be a great fit if you have experience owning UXR workstreams in an exciting product space, and enjoy taking ownership and initiative. In this position, you will work cross-functionally with Product, Design, GTM, Data, etc.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end UXR projects by working as the primary UX Researcher on one of our product squads. 
  • Determine research needs and execute by partnering with team members to determine an approach and carry out all related research tasks. 
  • Select and communicate the appropriate data collection method to answer questions from the product squad and the broader company. 
  • Deliver insights by sharing learnings and analyses with various teams.

Who you are

  • You have experience owning, planning, and executing different types of research (e.g., in-depth interviews, surveys, remote observations, unmoderated usability studies,, etc.) 
  • You can work independently and own projects
  • You are comfortable using a range of tools (e.g., UserTesting.com, Typeform, etc.) 
  • You deliver work quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • You are a strong advocate for research and can help the team make decisions based on research findings 
  • You have strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of UX Research experience 
  • U.S. based with active work authorization 
  • Must provide your own working equipment (laptop/computer)

This position is fully remote. The rate range for this position is $75-$95 per hour, commensurate with experience. This is an independent contract position and will not be eligible for employment benefits.
