As a Senior UX researcher in Global Banking, you will use Design Thinking methodology to develop empathy for our product's users. You will work closely with local and global multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality, end-to-end research deliverables in a fast-paced environment. You will support the development of best-in-class digital products and services.
Job responsibilities

  • Plan and execute UX research tasks to align with our product timelines
  • Advocate for user needs while understanding their connections to our business goals and desired outcomes
  • Create compelling, multimedia visualizations to highlight insights that provide recommendations, inspire and direct design, and help shape product roadmaps
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, product and content designers, product managers, subject matter experts, and engineers
  • Organize and document research processes, operations, and outputs to share with other teams
  • Conduct statistical analyses of behavioral/background/meta data
  • Share knowledge with, educate, and influence stakeholders about UX research processes and best practices to optimize our operations and elevate our organization
  • Build research surveys, analyze data, and develop reports and presentations designed to translate complex findings for varied audiences


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), a social science, or related fields
  • 3+ years of work experience in the UX research field, with at least some experience working on large and complex products
  • Samples of work demonstrating relevant experience (an online research portfolio or work sample links in résumé), especially on strategic UX research projects
  • Experience in planning and conducting different types of research including foundational, generative, and evaluative research at multiple points in the product development lifecycle
  • Deep understanding of the Design Thinking methodology
  • Formal training in running higher-level statistical analyses; experience using R
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and document research findings through artifacts and presentations
  • Familiarity with UX research tools (UserTesting, Dscout, etc.)


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in planning and facilitating Design Thinking workshops
  • Familiarity with the financial domain
  • Familiarity with UX design tools such as Figma and the Adobe suite
