As the Test Automation Engineer (Networking), you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct Ethernet testing by setting up and executing comprehensive test plans.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, libraries, and tools to facilitate network hardware and firmware testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to design and execute test campaigns efficiently.
  • Create thorough documentation for software and processes to ensure accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in networking or a related area.
  • Proficiency in testing TCP/IP protocols using Python, C, or C++.
  • Hands-on experience with network traffic generators (e.g., IXIA, XENA, SPIRENT).
  • Familiarity with testing protocols such as PTP, ARP, ICMP, SNMP, TFTP, SCP, SSH, and RSTP.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, IP addressing, subnetting, and network security on Linux systems.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
