Patreon is a media and community platform where creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. Over 300k creators are cultivating fandoms and building their businesses each month. Creators can offer free memberships to fans looking to explore more of their work, paid memberships to give access to exclusive media and community, or sell directly to fans with Shops.

Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:

  • 8B+ earned since Patreon's inception

  • 30M free new memberships in the first year of launching that option, and

  • 10M fans paying each month for exclusive access to creators' work and community.

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Contract Technical Sourcer to support our mission.

This is a contract role based in San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

What you will do:

  • Partner closely with recruiters and technical leadership to manage the sourcing strategy for key talent across varying levels of experience in the Engineering, Product, and Design organization

  • Draft thoughtful candidate outreach messages to engage passive talent

  • Act as primary contact for candidates during early stages of recruiting process ensuring a high-touch candidate experience

  • Develop efficient hiring processes to continuously deliver quality candidates to meet hiring goals

Skills and experience you possess:

  • 2+ years of sourcing for technical roles at high-growth, startups

  • Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, social media, or other technical forums

  • Experience crafting unique sourcing strategies to build a consistent and diverse pipeline of qualified candidates

  • Have a passion for the creator economy

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace and adapt to change and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

The posted range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits and perks previously outlined. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider your experience, leveling, location and other job-related factors.

Range:$50-60/hour
