We are looking for a strategic and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our growing Global Tech Recruiting team. As a Recruiter on the Core Eng or Specialized Tech team, you will be expected to work on pipelines that may include hiring for SWE’s, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, or other general technical talent.
Your primary focus will be to run a full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to closing on tech roles within your designated pipelines. You should bring a level of critical thinking, proactiveness, and polish while embodying our fun, collaborative culture. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will be critical to creating a seamless recruiting process to help Lyft scale.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting processes for roles across US and Canada which may encompass multiple pipelines, ensuring a seamless, uniform and positive candidate experience
- Partner with internal clients to develop sourcing strategies for current and future needs
- Innovate on ways to source and build a talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of platforms
- Proactively build strong pipelines through sourcing and connect with potential candidates for our open requisitions
- Work internally with Lyft hiring managers to understand the role and their teams needs
- Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring managers and any relevant stakeholders and working cross-functionally with legal, compensation/benefits, immigration, etc.
- Create job descriptions, role profiles, and offer packages based on the position and company requirements
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting for technical/engineering roles
- 1+ years of in-house recruiting experience with other tech companies
- Experience using tools from modern recruiting tech stack such as Greenhouse ATS, Goodtime.io, and Gem/HireEZ, or other similar tools to run a full cycle process
- Candidates should be experienced building and maintaining technical talent pipelines, targeting passive candidates, sourcing candidates through multiple creative channels, (web/social/professional networks, etc.), as well as having built a broad network of passive talent
- Will consider candidates with agency background if candidate has relevant experience sourcing for tech companies
- Exposure to high-growth, fast-paced environments as they will be managing 6-10 open requisitions at any given time

Lyft highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days per week, including on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is $84,000-$105,000 CAD. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
