* We are seeking Senior Technical Project Managers with a strong consulting background and experience supporting enterprise-level clients. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in technical project management, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive projects independently in ambiguous environments, and simplify complex challenges. As a Technical Project Management (Consultant) for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Developing and maintaining engineering system standards to ensure consistency, quality, and security across all products.
  • Leading large-scale cloud migration projects involving multiple data centers, overseeing teams of project managers, and coordinating with cloud service providers to ensure successful transitions.
  • Assembling key project team members and nurturing cross-functional teamwork to foster collaborative project environments.
  • Influencing and managing factors that create change and scope creep, ensuring project objectives remain on track.
  • Driving business case generation in collaboration with finance and business stakeholders to support project initiatives.
  • Ensuring project execution complies with approved methodologies and aligns with business needs
  • Facilitating regular status meetings, ensuring teams have the necessary technical clarity during meetings and stand-ups, and tracking project budgets.
  • Collaborating with clients to define and document IT project scope, priorities, budgets, and schedules, overseeing project implementation to meet organizational objectives.
  • Identifying potential risks across multiple proposals and establishing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

Requirements

You have:

  • At least 8+ years of experience leading large-scale, complex, cross-functional global programs.
  • Experience with managing enterprise-level technical projects or programs with budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Certification in PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agile (or equivalent) to demonstrate expertise in structured project management methodologies.
  • Ability to oversee process automation and operational efficiency initiatives, leveraging AI, machine learning, or cloud-based tools.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with end-to-end system implementations, including planning, execution, and post-launch support.
  • Ability to manage third-party vendors, contract negotiations, and SLA enforcement to ensure successful project execution.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Ability to develop and manage detailed project roadmaps, including scope, timelines, risk assessments, and resource planning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams, translating technical project details into business impact.

You might also have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in quality management practices, ensuring deliverables meet organizational standards and client expectations.
  • Certification in Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), demonstrating expertise in leading Scrum teams and Agile practices.

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.

The annual salary range for this role is: 100,000 - 135,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
