We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to join the Snap Lab  team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with EE team to own and drive end to end schedule for critical decisions and deliverables that align with product requirements, technical challenges, tooling lead-times, and business needs while managing cross functional dependencies

  • Manage PCB design and release processes, including PCBs, flex-PCBs, other EE design driven boards, cables, and development boards with global electromechanical/silicon suppliers. 

  • Understand technical issues and bring together key stakeholders to quickly converge on a solution, including collaborating with product design, optical, NPI, firmware, and software engineering teams

  • Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables such as architecture definition, product specifications, program schedules, data reviews, and test plans

  • Support full scope design and execution of related accessory product programs as needed to ensure interoperability with Spectacles device ecosystem

  • Identify and mitigate program risks by communicating needed information to drive issue resolution and pursuing alternate or parallel path solutions where appropriate.

  • Filter and distill complex information to provide key updates and risks to engineering leadership

  • Travel internationally up to 20%

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Create, optimize, and manage project schedules with multiple stakeholders

  • Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives, including materials planning and lead times for hardware builds

  • Ability to lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external vendors

  • Skilled at risk identification and mitigation across hardware and software

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, or system engineering or equivalent years of experience

  • 3+ years of combined experience in program management and electrical/system engineering for consumer electronics products

  • End-to-end knowledge of design, release, characterization, and validation processes for PCBs, flex-PCBs, rigid FPCBs, and development boards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration across disciplines including electrical, mechanical, optical, and software components

  • Experience with project/issue tracking and version control software

  • Experience driving complex programs to mass production in a fast-paced consumer electronics environment

  • Familiarity with tooling development timelines 

  • Self-motivating with strong critical thinking and communications skills

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
