PaceMate™ - PaceArt Technical Application Specialist (full-time, remote)

JOB SUMMARY
PaceMate® is currently seeking a Technical Application Specialist for our PaceArt Product. This person will play a part in driving growth in the organization by implementing software solutions for our customers. Provide customers with technical/ user education and consultation services throughout the duration of the PaceArt Optima implementation or Update. Customer consultation includes remote training/support through a web service as well as potential onsite support/training to ensure successful implementation and Software Update go-lives. Verifies the client’s needs have been met, the software project is fully operational, and the staff is fully trained. Manages multiple implementation and Update projects simultaneously, ensuring tasks are performed according to the project plan. In addition to customer-facing projects, this role will act as a representative on internal cross functional teams and provide voice of customer feedback to the business leaders and the product development team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Attend kick-off calls and weekly status calls with IT and Clinic staff
- Partner with Technical Project Manager to ensure projects progress in timely manner toward go-live date
- Gather information on current clinic configuration and workflow and help develop new clinic workflow
- Provide application overviews and focused technical training sessions to clinic staff and IT personnel
- Potential to provide onsite support at go-live, typically involving 1-4 days at each clinic site for go-live support /training o Sites are mainly in US and Canada but travel may be required overseas.
- Complete required project documentation in Salesforce.com
- Report customer complaints in compliance with established complaint handling procedures
- Design/lead/participate in customer Webinars and training events
- Potential travel to customer locations (up to 25%)
- Partner with cross functional teams ensure the voice of the customer is heard.
DESIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Previous experience implementing and training on software products in healthcare,
software or consulting industry
- Field experience in medical device industry
- Experience with hospital system implementations with HL7 interfaces and working with blended teams of on-site and remote resources
- Previous experience with Salesforce.com
- Zoom/ Microsoft Teams experience.
- General knowledge of Cardiac device ecosystem
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and configuring Microsoft Server, SQL, IIS, SQL Server.
- Understanding HIPAA related policies and experience adhering to compliance standards during integration implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer facing role in training and education, IT, or workflow consulting in the software, healthcare or consulting industries (1 year with Master’s degree)
- Experience with project management and working with individuals across multiple levels and roles within an organization
- Microsoft Office Suite
