We’re looking for an experienced and motivated people manager and leader to join our Strategic Growth team. You will build, mentor, and coach a team of strategic growth managers based in North America who are responsible for collaborating with the account management organization and increasing the share-of-wallet of existing merchants globally by scoping, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals. You are comfortable streamlining team operations, encouraging effective collaboration, and driving results. As a critical role in our continued growth, you will help to iterate our culture and build an amazing team environment that will create future leaders for Adyen.

  • encourage creativity, collaboration and feedback culture while understanding training needs. 
  • through brainstorming, sharpening ideas and challenging on deals/projects 
  • of your team members through supporting skills development, owning their career and embodiment of the Adyen formula
  • in alignment with Adyen commercial strategy 
  • on developing the Strategic Growth global strategy 
  • within the Account Management and wider Adyen organization

  • 4+ years experience in managing and scaling commercial teams. 
  • 7+ years experience in commercial roles, executing on full enterprise sales cycles including scoping, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Prior experience in payments is essential for the role. 
  • An energetic self-starter with a proven commercial & strategic mindset as well as entrepreneurial track record.
  • A natural networker with sharp internal relationship building and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Excited to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
  • An excellent communicator and team player with strong management skills and technical aptitude.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
