About the Job
Mission Cloud is seeking a seasoned Talent Development Consultant to support enterprise-wide learning and development during a period of organizational transition. This interim role is ideal for a hands-on and strategic professional who can ensure the continuity of our existing programs while bringing a fresh perspective to further optimize our approach.
We have strong foundational programs, systems, and processes already in place across performance development, leadership training, technical learning, and sales enablement. Your role will be to maintain and operationalize these efforts while providing thoughtful insights to evolve them where needed. You'll partner closely with leaders and People & Culture stakeholders to make sure we continue investing in our people in ways that drive engagement, growth, and business performance.
This position is 100% remote. This is a contract role through the end of 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Program Continuity & Advisory

  • Maintain and support execution of established talent development programs, including Evolution (professional development), onboarding, and leadership enablement.
  • Evaluate the current state of learning initiatives and make recommendations for enhancements based on business needs and best practices.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership and P&C in aligning talent development priorities with organizational goals.
  • Track and report on learning metrics to assess impact and engagement.

Leadership & Professional Development

  • Ensure the continuation of key leadership development resources and pathways for people managers and emerging leaders.
  • Curate or coordinate existing training materials, and facilitate where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on career development conversations and coaching practices.

Technical Training & Sales Enablement

  • Support onboarding and ongoing enablement for technical and go-to-market (GTM) teams, including coordination with external vendors for certifications or skills development.
  • Partner with leaders in engineering, product, and sales to align training efforts with team-specific needs.
  • Manage and optimize the use of existing tools such as SCORM Cloud, Articulate 360, and Reach360.

Performance Development & Enablement Infrastructure

  • Maintain our performance development systems and processes, including tools for feedback, goal-setting, and development planning.
  • Work within established workflows using tools like Jira, Abacus, and Asana to process training approvals and manage learning-related operations.
  • Monitor training usage and effectiveness through existing tracking systems and recommend improvements when applicable.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in learning & development, organizational development, or talent strategy, ideally in high-growth or evolving organizations.
  • Demonstrated success maintaining and scaling development programs across multiple functions.
  • Strong consultative skills, able to advise stakeholders while working hands-on to deliver results.
  • Familiarity with corporate learning tools and platforms (LMS, SCORM, Articulate, etc.), Jira, and related workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience in cloud technology or professional services organizations.
  • Knowledge of AWS certification pathways and enablement strategies.
  • Background in interim, contract, or consulting roles-especially during change or integration periods.
