Work Arrangement
This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
The Role
As a Talent Acquisition Project Manager at General Motors, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of Talent Acquisition initiatives in an agile project delivery environment. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning, Execution and Reporting:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for TA initiatives covering both technical and non-technical based projects
  • Lead project teams in the successful delivery of projects within scope, on time and within budget.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Produce and distribute project status reports to relevant stakeholders.


Project Methodology:

  • Deliver projects in line with our project methodology.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize the existing methodology.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with TA leadership and other key stakeholders to define the project objectives and deliverables.
  • Communicate project updates and outcomes to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate project success.


Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within TA
  • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness


Vendor Management:

  • Work in partnership with TA suppliers, GM COE's and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience delivering projects within enterprise-level organizations, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in an agile project delivery environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince 2, HRMP) is a plus
  • Experience using and/or implementing project management software is a plus
  • Familiarity with Workday, Paradox, and other TA specific technologies (CRM, background vendors, etc) is a plus


Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is $83,800 - $133,900 USD Annually.
  • Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
