Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, will have responsibility for leading the global team that articulates the unique value of the Company, the portfolio, and our products for all key audiences, so that customers of all sizes, segments, industries, and geographies can deliver personalized customer experiences at scale. Product Marketing is the group that drives the core content to establish relevancy with key target audiences and whose content gets orchestrated along the entire buyer journey. They will have an extraordinary product/audience marketing background, deeply rooted in creating a unique and differentiated value proposition, not only at the individual product level, but at the level of complex portfolios and for a complex set of audiences. S/he will bring a strong leadership track record in transforming product marketing organizations to operate at the portfolio, Line of Business, and industry level.

The Senior Vice President, Product Marketing will be a seasoned executive with tremendous drive, intelligence, and capability. They will be highly motivated and have the ability and desire to have real impact across the organization. The successful candidate will be a multi-dimensional thinker who operates not only based on important past experiences but considering new approaches and developments that occur in the market.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and articulate thought leadership to serve as the ‘why’ for company, portfolio and audience value proposition and drive category creation

  • Drive company positioning & messaging and differentiated value proposition

  • Develop Product (products & services) positioning & messaging and contextualize value propositions for specific audiences at the C-Suite/LOB/Industry/Tech level

  • Align positioning & messaging and value propositions at the individual product level (e.g. WEM/EX, Digital/AI, CCaaS Platform, GCXNow etc) with the value creation in the audience context, highlighting key product capabilities

  • Develop framework and approach to reflect product innovations in the value propositions that aligns with the high velocity of product innovation

  • Provide relevant and actionable competitive insights to different internal stakeholders such as executive management, product management/GMs and sales

  • Develop and provide scalable tools and methodologies to demonstrate measurable value/ROI/TCO of our portfolio for different customer segments

  • Develop and implement framework for scalable adoption of positioning, messaging, and value proposition content across marketing functions (demand gen, web, sales development, communications, and branding), as well as for the sales and partner organizations

  • Drive shift from ‘tell you’ to ‘show you’ approach by conceptualizing and delivering scalable demo approaches that showcase the differentiated value proposition

  • Collaborate closely with the GMs and product managers, as well as with the sales/field

  • enablement functions

  • Bring customer, market and thought leadership insights to influence portfolio direction

  • Engage C-level leadership in strategic positioning

  • Hire world‐class talent and manage performance to ensure career growth opportunities

  • Foster and drive strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared goals

Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years’ experience in product/audience marketing in b2b (plus b2c would be bonus)

  • Track record of driving relevance at audience/LoB/industry level and for complex portfolios

  • Track record of driving thought leadership-based approaches for category creation

  • Track record of operating at scale

  • Familiarity with CX (industry and technology) to drive relevance and differentiation

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members

  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders

  • Ability to communicate with all levels internally and externally

  • Leadership profile that unifies, influences, and inspires cross-functional teams to meet the changing needs of customers

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$253,000.00 - $470,000.00
