Responsibilities

  • Help lead Chef’s supply chain process to source and track off-the-shelf hardware and custom machine parts.
  • Lead supplier evaluation and feedback loops; develop supplier scorecards and conduct QBRs with key suppliers.
  • Be the main liaison to all suppliers and Chef teams and source back–up suppliers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and participate in field service, preventative maintenance schedules, and parts depot strategy.
  • Lead receiving, inventory management, product and part QA.

Requirements

  • BS, MS or PhD in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.
  • Expertise in BOM, PLM, ECN, and product development in a start-up.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and GD&T drawings.
  • Experience sourcing domestic and international parts; receiving, inventorying, and QA’ing products and parts.
  • Experience with Quickbooks.
