Job Summary:

The CareSource Summer Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage all Vendors adds and closures in the ERP system including name change processing and debarment checks
  • Manage the Vendor Management department email to support the Enterprise and Vendors with Purchasing and Sourcing needs
  • Validate appropriate contracts have been executed to authorize the set-up of FTP site as requested by IT
  • Assist with system testing and validation for new or modified functionality

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Current junior or senior college / university undergraduate or graduate student  in a credited degree program
  • Minimum of 2.5 cumulative grade point average

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Effective  listening and critical thinking skills
  • Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail

Licensure and Certification:

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$35,200.00 - $56,200.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
