AS SEEN ON SHARK TANK!
We are Storage Scholars, a student-run company on your campus, actively seeking Operations Managers to assist us with our 2025 moving and storage operations. The ideal candidate has a professional demeanor, abundant energy, and a determined attitude, willing to go above and beyond to ensure the successful completion of the tasks at hand.
Starting in March, you will begin with self-paced training and participate in bi-weekly meetings with your Campus Team Manager (CTM) in a fully remote capacity. As the semester progresses, you will transition to an on-campus leadership role, overseeing and executing moving operations at the end of the term. After a summer break, you’ll have the opportunity to continue working with us either on campus or in your local city, if desired. You will then return to campus early to wrap up moving operations and complete any necessary post-operation tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for students and staff. This does include lifting/moving items and driving trucks.
Interns will be paid on a commission-based structure with opportunity for bonus.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following duties:
1. Engaging in face-to-face interactions with customers.
2. Managing inventory of customer orders through our web portal.
3. Loading and unloading customer belongings onto trucks.
4. Operating trucks for transportation purposes.
5. Organizing and arranging orders at our storage facility.
6. Successfully delivering stored items back to student customers
7. Managing mover teams
From this experience, you will gain professional skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and logistics coordination, as well as getting to know your fellow students on campus. We look forward to welcoming passionate individuals who are eager to contribute their talents to our dynamic team!
