This role combines account management, strategic growth, and hands-on partnership execution to help drive Canva's expansion through collaborative, innovative partnerships.
What you'll be doing:

  • Developer Ecosystem Engagement: Work with developer relations to promote Canva's API and integration tools within developer networks, increasing adoption and innovation within partner solutions.
  • Solution Enablement: Collaborate closely with partners to identify integration opportunities, develop joint solutions, and support go-to-market initiatives that maximize the partnership's impact.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Canva's Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives, including creating co-marketing content, developing product solutions, and planning joint events.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, track partnership progress, and report on outcomes to optimize and scale our approach.

What we're looking for

  • Strategic Partnerships Management: 5+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or account management, ideally within a tech, SaaS, or digital environment, with a proven ability to manage complex partnerships and drive mutual growth.
  • Prior System Integrator & Strategic Tech Partner Engagement: Proven track record in working with system integrators and strategic tech partners, understanding their business models, and aligning partnership strategies to support joint growth initiatives.
  • Technical Understanding: Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions, with the ability to discuss technical concepts and engage with technical partners.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end partnership initiatives, including project planning, timeline management, and delivering results across multiple stakeholders within complex tech environments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering) to drive alignment and achieve shared partnership objectives.
  • Executive Communication & Relationship Building: Strong skills in engaging senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers, with experience navigating complex tech partner organizations to build influence and foster executive-level relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on managing detailed documentation, meeting follow-ups, and coordination of multiple tech partnership initiatives to ensure streamlined processes and consistency.

What We Do

Canva is a free, online tool where you can create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos and more. Our community of 185 million+ monthly active users is already creating 280+ designs every second, but we’re just 1% of the way to our goal.

It’s hard to explain what makes life at Canva so special, but we've identified two key ingredients: talented people around the world and a values-driven culture that inspires us to do our best work. So if you’re looking to design your dream career and experience meaningful opportunities to grow, come and join us.

Why Work With Us

We're driven by our simple (but radical) 2 step plan: become one of the most valuable companies in the world, and do the most good we can. And as part of a truly global company, you'll get to be part of our US success story from the early stages, helping us build and scale from the ground up.
