The Role

We’re looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager to lead our engagement with enterprise fintechs and traditional financial institutions, helping them explore and integrate blockchain technology. This role is ideal for someone who understands the evolving financial services landscape, has experience working with large FinTechs and/or TradFi players, and can navigate long sales cycles with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive fintech & TradFi adoption – Identify, engage, and develop relationships with enterprise fintechs (e.g., payments processors, banks, neobanks, remittance providers, and embedded finance platforms) and TradFi players (e.g., global banks, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers).
  • Develop strategic partnerships – Work closely with key stakeholders (Heads of Partnerships, BD, and Product) at financial institutions to explore blockchain-powered solutions.
  • Lead complex deal cycles – Own the full business development lifecycle from initial outreach to contract execution.
  • Market research & insights – Identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities for blockchain integration across both fintech and TradFi.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to define Fintech- and TradFi-specific offerings.
  • Refine go-to-market strategy – Help shape Alchemy’s positioning and messaging for financial institutions based on customer feedback.
  • Pipeline management – Track opportunities and progress in CRM, ensuring high-quality deal execution.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of BD, partnerships, or sales experience in fintech, traditional finance, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong enterprise sales experience, with a track record of closing large, complex deals.
  • Deep understanding of fintech and/or TradFi infrastructure (e.g., payments, banking-as-a-service, capital markets, settlement systems).
  • Experience working with C-level executives and product teams at financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with blockchain, Web3, or digital assets is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with a passion for identifying and executing new business opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a top fintech, payments processor, investment bank, asset manager, or market infrastructure provider (e.g., Stripe, Plaid, Adyen, Revolut, Wise, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, SWIFT, DTCC).
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations in fintech, TradFi, and crypto (e.g., KYC/AML, stablecoins, compliance frameworks, digital asset custody).
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment, iterating quickly based on market feedback.
  • Strong analytical mindset – ability to assess financial institutions' needs and align them with Alchemy’s offerings.

Alchemy is committed to offering competitive compensation, including base salary as well as equity. Additionally, Alchemy offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited flexible time off. The base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $180,000 - $260,000 annually. Please note this range reflects base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
