About the role

Crunchyroll’s Product Partnerships team is seeking a Staff Product Manager who is excited to increase user acquisition and retention through new product features and partnerships across global markets. You will lead the strategy and execution of expanding and optimizing our partnerships with telecom operators, platform providers, game consoles, billing partners, and more. Your work will help grow our paid user base and deliver exciting, scalable products that delight our fans.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that involves working with engineering, business development, product, marketing, and data teams to ensure the success of our product partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Product Strategy & Implementation: Lead the product strategy and roadmap for main partner integrations, including bundles, promotional offers, and device app distribution.
  • Increase User Acquisition & Retention: Develop data-driven strategies to acquire and engage users through our partnerships, delivering products and features that align with our needs and user expectations.
  • Lead Complex Programs: You will use your technical and business expertise to provide scalable, impactful product solutions and share a vision of success by working with several teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate on Product Requirements: Develop partner-facing APIs, user experience designs, and new scalable product features that enhance Crunchyroll membership, anticipating evolving requirements while keeping the end-user at the forefront.
  • Analyze & Promote Insights: Dive deep into product and partner performance, using data to improve our offerings and adjust strategies to create maximum value.
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert: Expand your knowledge of the business and your craft, becoming a trusted domain expert and go-to ally across teams leading innovation.
  • Leadership and influence: You will lead without authority, influence teams, and promote outcomes that move the needle.

In the role of Staff Product Manager - Product Partnerships - User Acquisition and Engagement, you will report to the Director of Product Management.

About You

  • 12+ years of product management experience, experience shaping the product vision, strategy, and direction, working with external partners
  • Experience with digital services partnerships in the consumer space, including API integrations, user acquisition and retention, and subscription management
  • Experience building technical products from 0 to 1
  • Experience using data to make decisions and guide your strategy.
  • Experience leading discussions with all audiences to break down complex ideas into clear strategies
  • Experience creating product strategies for seamless and high-quality user experience
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with A/B testing

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
