We’re searching for a Staff Global Supply Manager - Indirect. This role requires a deep understanding of technology procurement, including SaaS, software licensing, IT services, cloud infrastructure, and professional consulting engagements. You will partner closely with engineering, IT, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence


In this role, you will

  • Lead end-to-end procurement lifecycle for technology and consulting services, from RFX development to supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor management.
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with business goals, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and scalability.
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, consulting engagements, licensing agreements, and cloud service agreements, to secure optimal pricing, terms, and risk mitigation.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage strategic suppliers, ensuring performance metrics, SLAs, and compliance are met.
  • Drive cost savings and operational efficiencies through strategic supplier negotiations and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of indirect procurement experience, with a strong focus on technology and consulting services sourcing.
  • Proven track record in negotiating SaaS, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and professional services contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills, including cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in developing presentations for financial and business leadership.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment with evolving procurement needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels.

    

Desirable Qualifications 

  • Experience with ERP and procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and decision-making skill

The base salary range for this position is $143,000-$229,000 per year.  Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
