Spring Health is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for reconciliations, journal entries, and various general ledger tasks. The ideal candidate will bring an analytical mindset and a commitment to process improvement, accuracy, and efficiency within our accounting processes.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Collaborate with accounting and finance team support general ledger activities 
  • Prepare monthly close journal entries and accrual entries
  • Support accounting team with the month end close process
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and additional balance sheet reconciliations as needed 
  • Improve systems and procedures through documentation and process improvement
  • Contribute to the team’s development of accounting processes and implementation of best practice accounting practices
  • Support payroll reconciliations and posting entries
  • Support in the annual financial statement audit 

What we expect from you: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-2 years of Accounting experience required
  • NetSuite platform experience required
  • Demonstrable understanding of financial accounting
  • ​​Team player and adaptable to change 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail

  • Month-End Close Accuracy and Timeliness
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation Accuracy
  • Clean Audit Opinion 
  • Identify areas of efficiency and improvement for the team to be able to automate and scale overall solutions

The target base salary range for this position is $59,200 - $74,00, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
