About the Role:

We believe innovation happens when our team is able to move quickly, efficiently, and decisively. In this role, it will be your mandate to help our engineering and product teams do just that.

Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to support the platform used by our internal Operations team for large-scale fulfillment activities within our pharmacies. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will drive processes to ensure coordination, unblock teams, and maintain schedules while collaborating with Product Managers to ensure seamless activation, development, and delivery of product changes.

You Will:

  • Manage the Fulfillment and Pharmacy Engineering roadmap, working cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define, build, and deliver features, improving processes for engineering predictability and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve impediments to feature delivery with stakeholders.
  • Develop metrics and visibility mechanisms for Engineering throughput, feature health, dependencies, and trends.
  • Facilitate engineering meetings, including daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with engineering teams shipping complex backend and frontend software.
  • Strong understanding of backend and frontend software development concerns and ability to evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong writing, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for operational excellence, attention to detail, and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables while meeting ongoing and overlapping deadlines. 

Nice to Have:

  • 4+ years of experience delivering software systems in an ecommerce fulfillment context.

Hims & Hers seeks an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven Backend Engineering Manager. The candidate must be a leader, have a strong process architecture mindset and system implementation experience, and have the ability to grow engineering teams. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, executives, and business sponsors to deliver systems, process, and platform solutions to meet Hims & Hers business needs for our Ecommerce platform and operations. You will also be instrumental in ensuring our backend systems are robust, scalable, and flexible for the needs of our growing, fast-paced business.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.

An estimate of the current salary range for US-based employees is

$160,000$180,000 USD
