We’re looking for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join the engineering team in delivering our high quality SaaS solutions to our hospital and health system customers across the United States. You’ll be instrumental in developing the QA practice at maxRTE and upholding our commitment to providing quality software. A good candidate is passionate, experienced, motivated and has knowledge and curiosity in U.S. Health care.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to create and implement a comprehensive test strategy for key software products.
- Develop, automate, and maintain smoke, regression test suites while participating in all Sprint ceremonies.
- Ensure software quality by testing, validating, and analyzing failures, and integrating test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Develop deep product expertise and manually test components where automation isn't feasible.
- Ensure that no critical/severe defects are being produced after the production release.
- 5+ years' experience working in an Agile, highly collaborative team based environment.
- Experience in developing test plans by partnering with the developers and stakeholders at the requirement phase.
- Experience with Database (MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Mongo), Web apps, Windows processes and REST API testing.
- Experience in developing automation test suites using Puppeteer or similar.
- Solid understanding of Agile Software development methodologies and testing principles.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new processes and tools.
- Must be detail oriented, analytical and organized.
- Creative problem solver who proactively escalates any critical issues.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in U.S. Healthcare (Nice to have).
- Must be available to work in eastern time zone
