Location: This role is a hybrid role located in the Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA office. This role will require 2-3 days in office but the role is open to Remote for the right person.

We're in search of an Sr. Product Manager, Core Finance and Accounting who is driven by a desire to optimize, innovate, and transform business technology across our organization. The role is primarily responsible for business stakeholder engagement, portfolio planning, roadmaps, drive enhancements, and troubleshoot issues.


About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Partner in the development and implementation of strategic product roadmap for Accounting and Core Finance. Serve as the primary point of contact for Finance technology needs; stay updated on global indirect tax regulations that impact system needs. 
  • Maintain, document and manage project funnel, and drive prioritization process for operational/system improvements and strategic initiatives for the Accounting and Core Finance track
  • Drive partnership between BTT (IT), R&D, and functional business owners across Finance and Customer Success Operations in prioritization and cross-functional delivery approach
  • Create proper documentation for current and future state system flows, business requirements and decisions, and solution design in partnership with business SMEs and BTT (IT) Engineering.
  • Responsible for product execution, including training business users and measuring of business results achieved through solution implementation
  • Proficient in application data flows for all upstream systems, knowledgeable of Data Management practices and Reporting Strategies
  • Intimate knowledge of business policies, processes, and programs with discernment of the different personas for each
  • Fostering team excellence by developing the team into high performing individuals and cultivating a culture of accountability, communication, and collaboration.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 8+ years of professional Product Management experience, with a focus in Tax Technology
  • Mastery of systems analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling and systems design methodologies
  • Experience with implementation and enhancements on Financial systems such as Vertex, NetSuite, Zuora and procurement systems (i.e. Coupa, Zip)
  • Effective influence and negotiation skills; ability to form and build relationships with key stakeholders in various departments
  • Familiar with Tax, Finance and Accounting operations 
  • Proficient in SQL tools and cloud product management tools (Jira, Confluence, LucidCharts, Miro)
  • Ability to act as project manager with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional, upstream, and downstream impacts
  • Bachelor Degrees in Computer Science, Product Management or related field

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

Pay Range

$124,000$198,000 USD
