THE ROLE

Olipop is searching for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Finance to oversee and optimize the financial performance of the Supply Chain function of our organization.  The Supply Chain team spans Procurement, Planning, Commercialization, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and R&D, and this role will be critical in serving as a strategic financial lead on cost saving initiatives, new product innovation, network optimization, freight and warehousing analysis, contract negotiations, COGS forecasting, inventory optimization, and associated FP&A activities. 

In this role, you will need to get into the weeds and build reports, dashboards, and analytics in collaboration with Supply Chain leaders to measure and track performance against Supply Chain and overall organization goals, but be able to quickly elevate and communicate trends and their implications, along with recommended actions needed.  In addition to building, you will be asked to think critically and strategically about the implications of your analysis and present the findings to our leadership team.  You will need to be an effective collaborator, able to support our Supply Chain leaders needs while also being willing to challenge perspectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role will serve as a business partner to our Supply Chain team, helping to support ongoing decision making, analysis in support of long-term strategic projects, product innovation and commercialization, annual planning & forecasting, maintaining monthly budget and forecast models.
  • Lead and manage cost saving initiatives program by organizing, tracking and quantifying cost savings.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leaders on building out dashboards to summarize data and measure KPIs.
  • Maintain bottoms up forecasts for key Supply Chain P&L line items such as Product COGS, Freight, and Warehousing.
  • Evaluate new co-manufacturer or third-party warehouse agreements in conjunction with Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Own annual Supply Chain budgeting process and lead monthly budget review meetings.
  • Build frameworks for evaluating new product innovation requests and/or new customer or channel opportunities on an ongoing basis.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership on network optimization buildout.
  • Support Supply Chain leaders with ad hoc reporting, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Analytical and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to build complex, detailed and high-quality models and step back to summarize the implications and recommended actions.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and cultural competency, with an ability to operate in an unstructured and highly dynamic environment.
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex analyses to simple insights.
  • Advanced Excel experience with the ability to manage, simplify, and analyze large datasets is required.
  • A few intangibles to think about: 
  • Expertise in creating processes and tools to support budget process and profitability analysis.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Finance for a CPG brand is highly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Datarails is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in a combination CPG finance, consulting, investment banking or other analytically intense role, with an emphasis on Supply Chain, is a plus.
  • Prior experience at a rapidly scaling startup is a plus.


REPORTS TO: Director, FP&A


COMPENSATION: $135,000-145,000 base salary + bonus
