Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Learning & Leadership Development (US) will be a member of the Talent Management and Organizational Development Center of Excellence Leadership Team (TMOD CoE) and report directly to the Director, Learning & Leadership Development. You will be part of a fast-growing team that is leading a culture transformation within Insulet’s hyper-growth environment. This global role will be part of the Learning & Development team and will be part of continuing to build learning capability, a growth mindset and a culture of learning at Insulet. The leader in this role will partner with executives and senior leaders, and teams across the organization to identify learning needs, design impactful learning experiences that deliver business value, and provide strategic program management and delivery. We are looking for someone who can drive the delivery of the strategy and vision while also executing and delivering. This role requires a dynamic, and forward-thinking leader, with strong business acumen and program management expertise who can manage complex global initiatives across multiple stakeholders while ensuring a clear link to our business objectives. This role is critical in ensuring that our people have the tools, skills, and resources to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Key Stakeholder Partnerships

  • Partner with the Director, Learning & Leadership Development to formulate and execute a global, cross functional Learning Strategy and Roadmap that supports our business strategy and culture transformation
  • Create and deliver a Change Management Strategy for learning programs that engages stakeholders and creates a ‘pull’ for the learning
  • Act as the key liaison between the L&D team, HRBPs & internal/external stakeholders
  • Act as a learning coach for employees and executives, offering personalized guidance, feedback, and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals
  • Manage Insulet’s L&D Council and/or other forums to foster collaboration globally
  • Own the creation of employee communications and partner with the Corporate Communications Center of Excellence

Program Design & Facilitation

  • Lead Discovery with key stakeholders, conducting a needs assessment, extracting key insights and formulating innovative strategies to address learning needs and gaps
  • Design high quality, engaging curriculum that can be scaled globally for key audiences including first line leader, mid-level leader and individual contributor programs
  • Create bespoke learning experiences which are tailored to specific audiences, such as executives, VPs, and people managers.
  • Leverage design thinking and agile learning approaches, including ways to achieve behavior change in support of our culture transformation efforts
  • Develop various forms of collateral to support learning programs
  • Facilitate engaging and impactful learning sessions, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Design and run ‘train-the-trainer’ sessions to build a cadre of facilitators internally. Provide ongoing training, feedback, and resources to enhance their effectiveness

Program Management & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end program planning and management for key global learning initiatives, including strategy, logistics, KPI identification and management, stakeholder engagement, communications, and risk mitigation
  • Define key project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics, ensuring the achievement of program milestones
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, and proactively addressing any issues or risks that may arise
  • Conduct reporting, tracking qualitative and quantitative metrics and extracting insights
  • Provide strategic counsel and recommendations on how to adapt program direction to address challenges and barriers of execution
  • Utilize our learning management system (Docebo) to manage course content, track learner progress, and analyze learning outcomes
  • Partner with the L&D team to address employee inquiries and deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring effective resolutions are achieved

Technology Driven Learning Experiences

  • Incorporate multimedia content, digital learning experiences, and adaptive learning experiences using technology in program design
  • Provide counsel on technology offerings that can enhance learner experiences including the use of VR and micro-learnings
  • Streamline reporting and tracking leveraging technology to increase efficiency

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of Learning and Leadership Development experience
  • Experience creating and designing global leadership, soft-skill, behavior and organizational capability learning solutions at scale and bespoke to key audiences
  • Experience leveraging data analytics to identify insights, trends, and learning actions
  • Learning Program Management experience

Preferred Experience

  • Experience creating learning strategies to achieve business outcomes
  • Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience with learner-centered, performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior executives
  • Strong platform and facilitation skills to large groups and audiences
  • Experience designing learning experiences to drive mindset, behavior & culture change
  • Knowledge of external innovative learning practices and solutions
  • Experience delivering programs to diverse audiences in a virtual environment
  • Experience managing large, complex, global learning programs
  • Instructional design and design thinking experience a plus
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Proficient in leveraging learning technologies and authoring tools to create digital learning experiences; ability to design videos, sketch videos and use of VR a plus
  • Skilled at project and program management with strong detail orientation
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Highly agile and flexible navigating a complex, hyper-growth global organization
  • Highly collaborative, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Creative and innovative mindset and approaches to designing learning solutions
  • Skilled at extracting insights from KPIs and other data analytics to improve programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel within US and outside US, estimated at 20% yearly
  • Flexibility to work within global time zones when needed
  • This position has a flexible, hybrid work arrangement
  • Must be commutable to an Insulet location, with preference to Acton, MA or San Diego, CA.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,950.00 - $187,425.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
