Position Summary:

The Sr. Manager of Indirect Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will lead and drive strategic procurement initiatives across a range of indirect categories, prioritizing Logistics, IT, Marketing, Business Services, HR, Facilities, and Kiosk Operations among others. This high-impact role will focus on building and executing effective sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, delivering significant cost savings and cash improvements while also managing a 3rd party outsources procurement team, Logic Source.   This position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in category management, complex contract negotiations, and project management who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Primary Role Responsibilities:

The primary role is split between managing a portfolio of indirect projects as well as to manage and provide day-to-day project delivery support with Logic Source, which may include the following:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments, understanding their needs and aligning procurement strategies to support business goals.
  • Apply project management best practices to coordinate resources, manage stakeholder expectations, and mitigate potential issues.
  • Lead development, management and execution of project plans in partnership with COE category leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment to financial, operational, and timeline commitments
  • Partner with COE category stakeholders to update and maintain project plans, sourcing data and spend/savings projections
  • Develop reports, executive readouts, and presentation templates to ensure cohesiveness in messaging, flow, and content across projects.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation, sourcing strategies, and supplier innovation.
  • Establish and track KPIs to ensure the delivery of measurable cost reductions and cash improvement goals.
  • Develop and execute category strategies for key indirect spend areas, including Logistics, IT, Marketing, Business Services, HR, Facilities, Kiosk Operations.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and internal demand to create effective sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and implement SRM programs to manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, and capture value beyond cost reduction.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms that mitigate risk, improve flexibility, and align with company objectives.
  • Develop agile sourcing strategies that respond to rapidly changing business needs.
  • Implement best-in-class procurement practices to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
  • Lead change management initiatives to adapt to evolving market conditions, supply chain disruptions, and business priorities.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect categories such as Logistics, Marketing, IT, Business Services, HR, and Operations.
  • Strong project management experience (project management certification highly desirable), preferred
  • Ability to operate within a fast paced organization structure.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to think critically, and offer creative solutions.
  • Detail oriented and tactically focused with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence with capability to build trust and relationship with peers.
  • Proficient at using common tools used in project management/ management consulting roles (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) or other project planning & management tools.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Power BI, etc.) is highly desirable.
