This Sr. Manager, Category Strategy & Analysis will drive strategy and analysis for Hims and Hers' newest bets as well as key cross-category efforts. Today we offer access to healthcare in several categories including sexual health, hair loss, weight loss, and mental health.  You will collaborate with Category Directors, finance, product, and leadership to plan and implement innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing User Experience and maximizing ARPU/LTV. Your primary responsibilities will involve harnessing the power of rich analytics and synthesized insights to shape, prioritize, and drive cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Drive Cross-Category Projects:
    • Act as a strategic thought partner to our Cross-Category Director to develop and implement strategies that improve customer acquisition or retention such as incentives. 
    • Develop and deploy experiments together with product and analytics relating to cross-category bets. Monitor experiments' success and recommend iterations and improvements. 
    • Generate ideas and be on the lookout for opportunities that sit beyond one specific category and would meaningfully drive business value.
  • Lead in Analytics & Modeling:
    • Use business acumen and justifiable assumptions to build models that can help drive business decisions or improvements.
    • Create and manipulate existing dashboards and charts in tools like Looker and Amplitude to draw conclusions, feed into models, and make recommendations. 
    • Become a close partner to the analytics team understanding nuances of data and reporting.
  • Champion Strategic Projects & Innovation:
    • Act as a leader, key resource, and thought partner in the execution of one-off projects.
    • Proactively generate hypotheses and improve upon your projects by planning ahead and solving for problems before they arise.
    • Demonstrate flexibility, and proactivity and be quick to adapt to new organizational priorities and projects. 
  • Support Future Category Launches:
    • Analyze a new category's potential for our US market and beyond by building out scenarios and initial forecast models. 
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within each new potential category.
    • Help build the category launch playbook by mapping out what needs to be done to ensure launch success.

  • Proven experience in strategic analytics and business prioritization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated success in organizing large amounts of data and information into slides. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and flexible mindset with the ability to identify and address challenges independently and quickly.
  • At least 6+ years of business experience.
  • Experience in management consulting or strategy is required. 
  • Bachelors degree. MBA preferred
  • Direct-to-consumer experience preferred.
