As a Senior Industry Manager on the DTC Ecommerce Team, you will define, launch and lead strategic outcomes and operationalize the vision for the sales team. We’re looking for a high-performing candidate with experience building advertising/media sales teams across diverse client sets, working closely with technical cross-functional teams, a passion for solving complex problems, and excellent performance marketing and measurement knowledge. Our advertising business is thriving, our user base continues to grow, and we believe the impact of this role can fuel our company to grow in unprecedented ways. 


What you’ll do:

  • Lead one of the performance-focused, DTC Ecommerce Ad Sales Teams for top clients in the US.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with executives and marketers across a diverse set of advertisers.
  • Deliver, Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends to senior leadership as they relate to your team's client partnerships.
  • Grow, train and lead a diverse, high performing team with a strong inclusive culture to support emerging and established clients.
  • Work cross-functionally to build cohesive partnerships with peers and internal stakeholders, including product, sales operations, and marketing.


What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years experience in Advertising, Digital, and/or Media Sales and established industry relationships and experience forging strong relationships with marketing leaders & C-suite at the client and agency.
  • 5 years management experience and proven track record of managing a world-class sales team, including extensive forecasting experience and achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business administration or sales management, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of performance advertising (e.g.Search/Shopping/Display/Social advertising) and measurement solutions.
  • Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies.
  • Ability to interface with product and engineering to synthesize customer needs and feedback.
  • An individual that thrives in a fast-moving environment and is independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results without waiting for direction.
  • A passion for Pinterest.


In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration once per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices in San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, or Chicago.
