About the Role:
We are looking for engineers who love working with lots of data and have graph visualization experience.
You'll be joining the UI Framework Engineering team to work on CrowdStrike's Graph visualization platform and build engaging experiences to visualize & navigate data. Ultimately help our users find threats and patterns in their environment.
Our current Graph UI framework is based on a combination of WebGL, ThreeJS, D3 and Ember. However, we are transitioning towards Keylines for the rendering layer, with a strategic shift towards a selection of new technologies that pave the way for a framework-agnostic future, including web components. If you have a strong foundation in Javascript frameworks and a deep passion for developing Graph Visualization applications, you're the kind of person we are looking for.
What You'll Do:

  • Build the Graph UI framework used by product teams to build features that our customers use to hunt for hackers and protect systems.
  • You'll leverage your technical expertise to help the team sound decisions around engineering, product direction and design
  • Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams development experience
  • Write automated tests for your code
  • Collaborate with fellow Front End Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Product Designers, Producers, Technical Writers, QA Analysts, Product Managers, and others
  • Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry
  • Have fun solving hard problems


What You'll Need:

  • Experience in building user centric and scalable UI frameworks and design systems
  • Expert knowledge of the latest web standards and front-end engineering tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Web Components, REST API, GraphQL, Typescript, Node/NPM, Responsive UI)
  • A good understanding of Cloud Technologies and end to end delivery of data intensive SaaS products
  • Experience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices, tools and techniques such as compatibility with keyboard navigation, screen readers and WCAG AA guidelines
  • Experience with localization and internationalization (i18n)
  • Experience with front end frameworks such as React/Next.js, Vue, Ember, Lit (a huge plus)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools for improving and maintaining performance and code quality
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats
  • Comfortable providing presentations and recommendations to stakeholders and management
  • Be an advocate UX consistency, accessibility and empathy for the end user
  • Knowledge and experience of using micro front-ends and web components to architect framework agnostic applications shells for multi-framework support

  • Experience using KeyLines toolkit
  • Experience in building, delivering and maintaining graph visualization applications at scale

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $210,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
