Sr. Director, Silicon Operations

We deliver industry leading ASICs using Spec-to-Silicon expertise combined with our advanced design methodologies on leading-edge foundry processes, and 2.5D packaging technology. We have a global presence with multiple development centers in North America, Europe, China, Taiwan, and India. To support our growth and expansion plans, we are seeking to hire exceptional talent to join some of the brightest and most innovative people in the world on a mission to deliver world-class SoC products.

We are looking for a Sr. Dir Silicon Operations with a track record of building and executing comprehensive, efficient processes for product development, manufacturing, test, quality, supply/demand management, and logistics in the silicon / hardware systems industry. The Sr. Director must be customer-focused to ensure the delivery of products that meet customer requirements and a customer experience that delights.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy and execution for technology and business operations across HW, SW, and systems - inbound with manufacturing supply chain, and outbound with customers and ecosystem partners - to support the company's revenue pipeline.
  • Responsible for building strategic customer and supplier relationships, planning, logistics, supply chain, technical supply operations and product costs.
  • Own, evolve, and drive product cost models to hit market and customer requirements. Negotiate supply chain and other vendor agreements for maximum impact and benefit to the company.
  • Drive negotiation strategy and closure of operations-related technology transactions and contracts, including supply purchase agreements, MPAs, etc.
  • Manage customer feedback and work with the team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Conducts regular meetings to ensure customers and internal teams are clear on expectations and problem-solving actions are in place to address issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain adequate technical depth and managerial skill to address program and product issues.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelors' or Masters' Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering with 15 or more years of relevant experience in a semiconductor or electronics product company
  • Technical appreciation of ASIC/SoC flows (front end and backend development processes, product and test engineering, char and validation, hardware/software design)
  • Proven leadership/accomplishments in managing operations for silicon/hardware product-line or company.
  • Proven industry track record of enabling high-volume, revenue generating hardware products.
  • Proficient in MS-Office / Excel, financial / cost modeling in spreadsheets
  • Able to motivate and energize teams and lead by influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to keep calm and make progress in high stress situations.

Salary and Benefits

Your contribution will be recognized with a base salary within the range of $236,000 to $324,000 annually as It is influenced by your qualifications, experience, location, and the internal equity of our team to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, employees are also eligible for additional compensation opportunities, including a short-term incentive program, Retirement & Saving Programs and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
