The Growth Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving multi-channel product onboarding and experimentation to create seamless experiences for our Databricks users. In this role, you are responsible for designing and optimizing lifecycle communications that enhance user engagement, retention, and growth. You'll work closely with the product team to develop best-in-class experiences that drive account and user engagement.
The impact you will have:
- Lead multi-channel onboarding programs to drive product adoption, improve time-to-value, and maximize retention in a product-led growth motion.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure new users experience early value by delivering compelling, educational, and timely content across various channels.
- Develop and execute testing frameworks to experiment with product experiences, messaging, content, and offers—iterating rapidly to optimize nurture touchpoints and share insights across teams.
- Leverage customer behavior insights to personalize engagement strategies, refine onboarding flows, and deepen user interaction across key lifecycle moments.
- Implement best-in-class nurture strategies across email, in product, web and other relevant channels to create seamless user journeys.
- Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing, experimentation, and performance analysis—leveraging data to refine user experiences and enhance conversion rates.
- Own KPIs and campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine personalization strategies and improve engagement outcomes.
What we look for:
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, with 5+ years in growth or lifecycle marketing within a high-growth SaaS startup.
- Proven expertise in multi-channel onboarding and nurture programs, including email, in-app messaging, and cross-channel engagement.
- Strong collaboration with product teams to enhance customer onboarding and drive adoption.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and comfort with data analysis to measure and improve program impact.
- Deep understanding of modern marketing best practices, including segmentation, engagement tactics, and retention strategies.
- Ability to synthesize customer data and behavioral insights into actionable strategies that drive user success.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end campaign development, execution, and optimization, including working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate complex programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $139,300—$213,600 USD
Zone 2 Pay Range
$125,400—$192,200 USD
Zone 3 Pay Range
$118,400—$181,600 USD
Zone 4 Pay Range
$111,500—$170,900 USD
