As a , you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our reporting infrastructure and our data integrity of our reporting suites.  You will leverage tools such as Looker, DBT, and SQL. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, and be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing reporting solutions to drive actionable insights for key stakeholders. Your expertise in data modeling and Business Intelligence will be essential in creating meaningful and accessible dashboards and data products.. Your role will involve collaborating with the to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.  

Your responsibilities will encompass not only the technical aspects of building and maintaining reporting infrastructure but also the strategic aspect of identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. By staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies, you will continuously contribute to the evolution of our BI capabilities, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

  • Build key explores (reporting pipelines) for use in reporting 
  • Define and maintain key reporting/data definitions
  • Collaborate closely with the business to ensure data quality and availability for internal and external reporting
  • Provide clear requirements to Data Platforms & Data Engineering for essential reporting pipelines
  • Ensure that our data science and analytics models are reusable and can be incorporated in our reporting
  • Help during migrations to ensure our reporting is gold standard and experiences no disruption/downtime

  • Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree in Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in Business Intelligence and have a keen eye for detail
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in reporting infrastructure and enablement roles 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL development and optimization
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Looker or similar business intelligence tools
  • Proficiency in analytics and data manipulation techniques
  • Strong understanding of data modeling principles and methodologies
  • Some experience/familiarity working with DBT (Data Build Tool) in developing and maintaining reporting pipelines
  • Experience collaborating with accounting or finance teams 
  • Experience orchestrating complex data science models into scalable and repeatable data pipelines and feature stores
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Extensive experience with Looker, showcasing proficiency in building complex data models and dashboards that meet diverse business needs
  • A proven track record with DBT, including multiple years of hands-on experience in developing and optimizing data transformation workflows for efficient reporting pipelines
  • Familiarity with Databricks, demonstrating the ability to leverage its features for advanced data processing and analytics tasks
  • An interest or background in statistics
  • 1-2 years of experience with Python

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.
