Job Summary
The Director of Client Strategy will play a key leadership role as the primary liaison between Juice and a group of its high-value clients. They will be responsible for leading client growth, client retention, team growth, contributing to agency revenue growth, working with Business Development in identifying and supporting avenues for new business opportunities. Taking a business consulting approach, this position will require a best-in-class strategic thinker, who is deeply data-savvy and a subject matter expert in recommending and driving omnichannel media strategies for clients to grow their business and brand while contributing to the overall growth of the agency.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the building and maintaining of strong relationships by being a trusted advisor to clients in helping them exceed their short-and-long term objectives, challenges and opportunities for their brand, business and campaign.
  • Lead/collaborate with clients to drive in-depth analysis, identification and confirmation of key business objectives, KPIs, brand attributes, audiences, product, competitive, marketplace dynamics, to begin to lay the groundwork for building campaign strategies.
  • Lead effective and continuous communications to clients on strategy, insights, execution, etc.
  • Drive development, execution, management of comprehensive and integrated (omni channel - Linear, OTT, Digital, etc) media strategies/recommendations that align with clients' growth goals
  • Work closely with Investment Department to ensure alignment of strategic direction and delivery of best in class media execution (planning, buying, and optimization)
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the media industry to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Leveraging agency attribution platform, lead in-depth analysis and measurement of client's data and performance results to identify valuable insights, key trends, campaign effectiveness
  • Partner with internal Data Science teams to drive ongoing additional value-added insights around client campaign performance, and scale opportunities.
  • Drive actioning of data insights, subject matter expertise, and key agency resources to develop and manage the implementation of optimization strategies in real-time, to improve ROI, click-through rates, conversion rates, and other relevant client metrics.
  • Implement subject matter expertise (omni channel, branded performance space), drive development and execution of relevant best practices to build effectiveness across campaign levers (media, creative, messaging, targeting) individually and/or integrated level.
  • Drive internal communication between Management, Media Investment, Data & Product Teams, and Agency Partners around client insights, needs and overall campaign progress, budgets.
  • Provide guidance, set goals, and ensure team members are aligned with agency's vision, how to use and leverage agency offerings with client objectives.
  • Responsible for team and individual growth in skills, capabilities, alignment with agency culture.
  • Oversee management of agency clients and team/client P&L in conjunction with overarching agency billing and revenue goals.


Qualifications
• 7-10+ years of work experience at management consultancy, internal strategy group, marketing consultancy, omni channel ad agency, leadership role in marketing department driving brand and business growth• High level of experience and comfort with quantitative concepts; have an ability to lead the effort to understand data, drive insights and communicate (the what, how and why) to clients, internal teams, etc (this not a classic technical role, but numeracy and comfort with data is a must)• Strong written and verbal communication skills; again, this is a client-facing role demanding clarity and concision and ability to communicate clear strategic narratives. Be able to effectively migrate between the meeting room and board room• MBA a plus• Extremely strong personal organization and attention to executional detail• SQL and/or understanding of coding knowledge is a plus• Working as an operator in a D2C company a plus

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00 - $201,960.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
