Salesforce Inc.  seeks Software Engineering LMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Master development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and implement the vital work to ensure quality in code. Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes. Present designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address sophisticated problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Data structure, algorithms and software design; (2) RESTful framework: Rest.li; (3) Databases: MySQL and Oracle; (4) Stream processing: Apache Kafka; (5) Programming languages: Java, Python, and Scala; (6) Automated testing: Unit test (Junit) and Integration tests; (7) Apache Spark; (8) Monitoring and Performance Optimization; and (9) Large scale microservices and database migration. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $184,000.00 - $289,000.00 per annum.
