DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Contribute towards entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of upcoming project and participating in daily standups, backlog refinement, and sprint planning events to discuss daily progress and support delivery efficiently for Agile software development. Develop mobile software applications, write component specifications, and build accessibility compliant applications. Create reusable components and frameworks that can be testable and promote test-driven development. Create architecture diagrams based on business requirements and flow charts to design solutions for mobile Android applications. Responsible for software quality, testing and validation by participating in defect triage calls with Quality Management team to ensure all requirements have been appropriately met and ensuring there are no potential defects that may cause potential impact. Participate in digital technology projects from concept to implementation and through all phases of the software development lifecycle. Complete development assignments on time with appropriate level of quality to support project efforts. Perform production support validations and assist with release validations to ensure key project milestones are identified to mitigate risk before launch to customers. Implement component specifications to identify behavioral analytics. Create work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation. Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards. Support project releases. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Effectively communicate with stake holders including business partners, other technical partners, and UI/UX partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Jenkins; NodeJS; CSS; HTML; Java; Javascript; Shell Scripting; XML; REST; Maven; JSON; Splunk; GIT; Junit; Kotlin; Android Studio; Compose UI; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; and Unit Testing.
Job Location: 3223 Hanover St, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Telecommuting permitted up to 80% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $157,500 - $185,000 per year.
