Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

The key to Figma's success has been the product itself, and the User Growth pillar sits at the heart of this product-led growth. Our goal is to connect users to the value of Figma by accelerating the adoption and retention of every product line we offer. Examples of how we do that by empowering Community driven distribution, crafting intent-based user onboarding, and unlocking international expansion.

If you’re excited by business impact, a rapid ship-learn-iterate cycle, and data-driven decision-making, this is the team for you!

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Own projects from end-to-end, from ideation to implementation to quantifying production impact.
  • Take responsibility for the team’s impact, goals and ownership areas, working closely across engineering and with cross functional partners to drive outcomes.
  • Tackle exciting technical problems, designing new architecture and solutions that addresses both immediate and broader needs.
  • Mentor other engineers and shape the team's technical strategy, processes, and culture.
  • Help recruit more world class engineers to Figma.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 2+ years working as a professional software engineer.
  • 2+ years of professional experience shipping features or products.
  • A focus on impact, with the ability to achieve meaningful outcomes and speak to the metrics behind the work.
  • Strong cross-team and functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in and a desire to teach fellow engineers through pairing, code review, and in-the-moment feedback.

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience in growth initiatives and thinking, whether through running experiments or prototyping of 0-to-1 products or ideas.
  • A strong focus on building products that tackle real user needs.
  • Demonstrated fluency with one or more programming languages, including: Typescript/Javascript, React, C++, Python, Ruby, or Java.

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
