About the Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer III on our Conversion & Purchase Experience Team, you will help shape the future of our Service Monetization Platform. You will design and build intuitive and efficient user interfaces, ensuring a seamless acquisition and secure checkout experience for our fans. Working with design, product, quality and data teams, you will solve complex challenges, optimize performance, and enhance user experience, directly contributing to the growth of the Crunchyroll fanbase. 

In the role of Frontend Software Engineer III, you will report to the Engineering Manager of the Conversion & Purchase Experience Team.

We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Culver City, CA, San Francisco, CA or a remote location in the states of California, Oregon or Washington.

About You

We get excited about candidates, like you, because 

  • You’re an experienced and passionate Frontend Software Engineer with experience building intuitive user interfaces (5+ years of relevant experience in the software industry) 
  • You have in-depth knowledge of frontend technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS. 
  • You're experienced with deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
  • You're familiar with the development of full stack applications or backend services
  • You know how to refine the checkout experience and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and performance optimizations
  • You excel in an Agile and collaborative environment, where your insights and expertise will help create technical solutions loved by our fans.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
