Software Engineer II (Full Stack)

Lead is a fintech building banking infrastructure for embedded financial products and services. We operate an FDIC-insured bank headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.  Additionally, we have offices in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and New York City, where our technical, product, design, and legal teams operate.

Role Description: 

This candidate will build and maintain APIs, applications and systems with a focus on performance, scalability and usability. They will work closely with product managers, designers and key stakeholders across the company to implement new features that address both product goals and internal and external customer needs. Candidates can develop APIs, applications and systems from the ground up, navigate ambiguous problem domains and have a consistent track record of high performance and delivery. Candidates are eager to learn and continuously seek opportunities to deepen their knowledge and expertise.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience and a proven track record of shipping successful projects
• You are passionate about building large scale applications and systems in a cloud native environment (preferably AWS)
• You have a strong command of multiple languages (preferably TypeScript/JavaScript and Go/Java)
• Are comfortable jumping between backend and frontend systems
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining a high quality code base, and consistently delivering challenging projects on schedule with high quality
• Ability to collaborate/compromise to get to the best, most efficient outcome
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders on the goals and deliverables
• You are curious, have humility and are open to learning 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fintech experience is a plus
• Ability to perform in a fluid environment with high autonomy

Zone 1: $150,000 - $175,000 (SF/Bay Area, NYC)
