Ready to make an impact from day one?
This position is based (hybrid) in our Munich office.
As our Social Media Specialist, you will elevate Personio's presence to become a 'must-follow' account for HR professionals and organizational leaders across Europe, significantly enhancing our market impact and brand reputation. You'll craft engaging, social-first content tailored to the HR community, while empowering stakeholders-including executives and employees-to amplify this reach. As a member of our high-performing Brand & Comms team, you'll support global initiatives that boost brand awareness and fortify our reputation among target audiences. You'll collaborate closely with teams across the organization, serving as the critical link between content creation, communication strategy, and social media distribution, ensuring seamless integration and impactful delivery.
Are you ready to lead Personio's social media strategy and drive our brand's narrative across Europe?
What you'll do...

  • Own how we show up on social: Build and optimize a social media calendar for our key countries that ladders up to our overarching communications, content, and brand strategy.
  • Craft compelling and conversational content: Write and produce high-quality, native content for social media (specifically LinkedIn), including posts, newsletters, articles, videos, and more
  • Organize your own social media machine: Schedule and coordinate posts, while managing the intake and alignment of projects where social media can act as a lever for growth.
  • Spark a vision for social: Partner with marketing team members to refine content ideas and adapt them for social media, ensuring a unified approach across all channels.
  • Play the role of coach: Coach various roles across the organization, including executives, employees, and HR leaders, to post content that helps amplify our brand.
  • Try big ideas that boost our brand: Run experiments that help us understand the best way for our brand to appear on social media, and report on those results to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Keep us accountable to our goals: Monitor and analyse social media metrics to inform content strategy and drive continuous improvement.

What you need to succeed...

  • 2+ years of professional experience in social media or related roles within content marketing or marketing communications teams.
  • Expertise in LinkedIn strategy and engagement.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with the skill to tailor tone for diverse audiences.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and creative projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong ROI and business impact from campaigns you've led or contributed to.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
