The Role:
Arine is looking for a Senior User Experience Manager to join a strong team of diverse product managers, technologists and clinical professionals in building Arine’s Virtual Pharmacist platform and solutions. This candidate will drive the overall user experience of the platform and will have a direct impact on the product strategy, design and the success of users of our enterprise solutions.

The Arine platform supports an array of complementary medicine intelligence solutions. Each solution is a launchpad for extending the value we deliver through our ever growing repository of clinical models and workflows. The product management team is responsible for planning and directing that growth to scalably meet the needs of our customers, as well as driving our solutions forward to deliver value in ways our customers have not even thought of yet. The User Experience Manager is a critical part of the product team, focusing on the overall experience and flows that underpin successful patient outcomes, customer success and user satisfaction in the Arine solutions.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Design Strategy: Establishing a clear UX vision, defining design goals, defining the catalog of Arine styles and user patterns, and creating a roadmap for the user experience across our platform solutions
- Interaction Design: Developing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test design concepts
- Applied Design: Defining graphic design standards to compliment application flows to delight customers
- User Research and Analysis: Conducting user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors to inform design decisions
- Collaboration: Working closely with product managers, clinical experts, developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design decisions with business objectives
- Evangelism: Championing user-centered design principles and advocating for the user's needs throughout the product development process
- Design Systems and Processes: Refining and maintaining an organized end-to-end design system of style specifications, guides, templates, processes and design artifacts to standardize and streamline the product design process for everyone who touches product
- User Perspective: Understanding our users and corresponding personas, and synthesizing customer needs to identify key user flows and define crisp requirements that deliver the right value in an intuitive and efficient manner
- Leadership: Owning UX and building out a UX team including mentoring and coaching of junior UX designers, providing feedback on design work, and assigning tasks to ensure team efficiency
Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in user experience, UI design or a related field working directly with software products and services, preferably in the healthcare field
- Expertise in user research methodologies, design thinking, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing
- Sincere customer empathy with a drive to understand the needs behind their challenges
- Ability to guide front-end developers and design teams, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to interpret user data and translate insights into actionable design improvements
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping software
- Able to see and leverage patterns in seemingly diverse use cases and product flows
- Self starter with desire to define and drive product design standards across the company
Nice-to-Haves:
- Ideally a blend of experiences across software design and healthcare technology
- Prior experience in front-end software development and/or software product management
- Understanding or direct experience with AI/Machine Learning concepts and applications
- Experience with startups
Travel and Other Information:
- Ability to commute to our office on Market Street in San Francisco at least 2-3 days/week
- Travel approximately 10%

The posted range represents the expected salary for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The salary range for this position is: $150,000-180,000/year.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities:
