- Lead and execute complex programs: Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration: Foster strong relationships and effective communication with stakeholders across different departments. Facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on program goals.
- Manage program risks and issues: Identify and proactively mitigate potential risks. Develop and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
- Track progress and report on key metrics: Monitor program progress regularly, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure program quality and delivery: Maintain high standards of quality throughout the program lifecycle. Conduct regular reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and methodologies.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentorship and team development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior program managers and project managers.
- Simplify the world around: Applying past experiences and communicating those out to both technical and non-technical partners.
- Identify new opportunities: Drive ideas from inception to delivery, ensuring good ideas are prioritized and that technical - and sometimes non-technical - challenges to realizing them are overcome.
- Industry: Keep a close eye on/at the industry standards, direction, and competition.
- R&D: Assess new technologies and external technologies/products that we could benefit from and/or threaten us.
- Internal knowledge: Organizationally and technically to get things done that few others would be able to.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of successful program delivery.
- 7+ years of experience leading and executing complex, cross-functional programs.
- Strong project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $221,500 - $295,300
Zone B: $199,300 - $265,800
Zone C: $183,800 - $245,100
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
