Role Responsibilities
- Bridge use case requirements from customers or AI / ML community with SambaNova's SW / HW technical stack
- Pioneering work ahead of existing engineering capabilities, in the forms of: enable new ML applications running on SambaNova platform; enable new AI system architecture for achieving better performance and scalability
- Work with internal engineering teams to standardize and robustify prototypes into official part of SambaNova's technical capability
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent and with 2-5 years of industry experience
- Hands-on experience on at AI/ML frameworks (eg. PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc)
- Math/arithmetic understanding on NLP / Vision / speech-recognition models
- Experience on applying NLP / Vision / speech-recognition into real-world use case applications
- Knowledge or design experience on ML systems and performance optimization
- Good Python / C++ programming skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience on AI/ML deployment (eg. Kubernetes / Amazon Elastic Compute, etc)
- First author in CS / ML publications
Annual Salary Range and Level
The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000/year up to $180,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
