About the Team
We are the tvOS team at Crunchyroll. We are a globally distributed, fully remote team and our mission is to provide the best premium streaming service for anime fans in their living rooms.
About The Role
Working closely with engineering manager, tech lead, and cross functional partners to identify business needs and create technical design documents to specifications. You will develop algorithms and mind maps / flow charts for the development of new features Writing high-quality and optimized code to product requirements and design specifications. Identifying tech debt, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing codebase. Analyzing user feedback to optimize software performance. Creating technical documentation to support and streamline future software development endeavors. You will report into our Senior Engineering Manager for tvOS and this role is open to fully remote within the United States.
About you
- Desire to build premium anime viewing experience on tvOS
- Minimum 5-8 years of development experience in Apple platforms, with experience building consumer applications using Swift and UIKit / SwiftUI
- Habitually challenge yourself and your team to deliver the best experience for our customers
- Leadership quality working with cross functional partners
- Courage to question the status quo and push the boundaries
A Day in the Life
Work with team members to implement new features across Crunchyroll tvOS. Coordinate with team lead on technical designs and technology decisions. Ensure top notch code quality with active participation in code reviews. Provide technical expertise and contribute to team culture

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
