We are looking for a to join our Integration Runtime engineering team, to support our next wave of technology and architecture modernization. We are investing in achieving extreme scalability through modern containerization technologies to achieve newer levels of scale and make our Runtime grow per our customers' needs. The Boomi Runtime engineering team focuses on all aspects of the Boomi execution engine that runs our customers' data integration processes that meet their business requirements. This includes all activities related to the development, quality assurance and maintenance of all the components of the Boomi execution engine, to be able to support the high-scale high-performance requirements of our customers in a large distributed infrastructure. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
- Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
- Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
- Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
- Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
- Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
- Experience in software architecture design and development, including the use of some IDE with a solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product
- Experience with Java, source control systems, continuous integration tools
- Experience with agile collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL
- Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
- Familiarity using container orchestration technologies EKS
- Familiarity with SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools like Hibernate
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- Experience using Linux/Unix environments
- Understanding of Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL)
- Experience using Message brokers such as Service Bus, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Kinesis, and Kafka.
- Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs, API documentation tools like openAPI, testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI
- Experience using Devops and build tools like Jenkins, Maven and other CI/CD tools
