About the Role:
You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and enterprise-grade software development. You will solve novel challenges in LLM-based systems while ensuring our products remain reliable, accurate, and valuable to customers.
Your work will directly impact how businesses understand and leverage their data. You might focus on improving our natural language to SQL conversion, enhancing search relevance, or developing more reliable agent frameworks that can consistently solve complex tasks. You will ship.
Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing quality evaluation frameworks for LLM-based systems

Creating innovative prompt engineering solutions to improve accuracy and reliability

Conducting experiments to continuously improve our metrics and system performance

Building robust systems that can handle the unpredictability of natural language

Collaborating with infrastructure teams to productionize improvements
-
Investigating customer-reported issues and turning them into product enhancements
-
Developing frameworks that balance powerful AI capabilities with appropriate guardrails
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

5+ years of experience as a software engineer.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Go.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

(For Cortex Analyst) Proficiency with writing SQL

(For Cortex Analyst) Experience working with semantic layers, prior experience as a data scientist/data analyst, and with BI tools, are a plus.
